Our Under 15 Public Speaking team took part in the UCD heats of the Irish Federation of University Women's public speaking competition that was held in UCD on Saturday February 3rd. The team was awarded "Best Team" by the adjudicators. The standard reached by Kiera Reilly (1F), Sophia Carberry (2B) and Edel Colgan (2B) was exceptionally good, and the girls were selected to compete in the national final against teams who will be chosen by Trinity College, Queen's University Belfast, and University College Galway. Substitute Niamh Behan (1B) was also in attendance to step in if required. The final will be held on March 3rd. Best of luck to the team!
